Because of the cassiterite is heavy, the alluvial tin ore is advisable to use gravity separation. Usually, alluvial ores must be washed before the separation processing, but the high mud content and strong viscosity, ordinary washing machine is incompetent, so need to adopt a more efficient washing machine-rotary drum scrubber, through the rotation of the cylinder, the ore is washed by the high-pressure water, materials are constantly lifted, dropped, stirred, so that the ore and clay are completely separated, then the trommel screen will screen out gravel, pebbles and other large stones in the raw ore. The ore of -2mm under the screen is sent to the spiral chute by the slurry pump for roughing. The concentrate and middling ore of the spiral chute respectively enter shaking table with different groove for separation. The concentrate of the shaking table goes to the next set of shaking tables to improve the tin ore grade, finally the tin ore concentrate is obtained. The plant is built according to the mountain terrain to realize the slurry flow by itself, which reduces the use of slurry pump and greatly reduces the energy consumption and the loss of accessories.
Because of the specific gravity of tin is heavy, the spiral chute and shaking give full play to the advantages of gravity separation, low investment cost, high separation efficiency, good separation effect, recovery and grade have been well controlled.
